Responsibilities

SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for the following:


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

• Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules to meet business needs, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).

• Assess business requirement and provide overall effort estimate for enhancements and projects on the assigned module.

• Provide required documentation to support a change (Functional Specification, Configuration document, Test Scripts, others).

• Perform testing and facilitate UAT with business users

• Work with vendors on project delivery, enhancement and issues resolution

• Stay updated with the latest SAP FI/CO trends, technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of financial processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as ABAP developers, functional consultants, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of SAP FI with other systems and modules.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• With at least 3 years of experience in implementation and configuration of SAP Financials and Controlling modules (SAP FICO) and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) in SAP ECC or S/4HANA

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, financial processes, and related business functions.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and vendor partners.

• Ability to perform fit-gap analysis, configuration, troubleshooting, testing and training.

• Has good understanding and experience in SAP software lifecycle and in creating documents such as blueprints, functional specifications, test scripts, user guides and process flows.

• Experience with system enhancements, patches, upgrades, and testing methodologies and ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI-related issues efficiently, with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Knowledgeable on SAP FICO integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Must be willing to work on Night Shift schedule and work location in Ortigas, Pasig. (Hybrid Work Shift)

About the Role

Analyze business processes in the finance domain and recommend improvements. Conduct requirement gathering sessions and document functional specifications. Configure and test SAP FICO modules to meet client needs. Provide training and support to end-users.
